From Facebook to Fentanyl: An Empathetic Approach to Addiction

Join us for an interactive workshop led by Beth Syverson, host of Safe Home Podcast. She has been in recovery from sugar addiction for over 5 years, and she has walked alongside her 19yo son Joey as he recovers from a polysubstance addiction, primarily cannabis and psychedelics. Using the concepts from the CRAFT Method, she will challenge our culture’s — and our own — views about addiction. Her main goal is to destigmatize addiction and mental health, and to create a more empathetic world in which people who struggle with addiction can find healing.
