“The Science of Mind is intensely practical because it teaches us how to use the Mind Principle for definite purposes, such as helping those who are sick, impoverished, or unhappy.” – Ernest Holmes
As a fully inclusive, open, and affirming spiritual community and church, Namasté Center for Spiritual Living affirms the sacred worth of all humanity, and commit ourselves to caring with concern for all. Whether here in Long Beach or across the globe, we look at unfulfilled promises of a world that works for all and ask ourselves “What can I do?”
Namasté CSL supports organizations working to improve the lives of homeless individuals, victims of domestic violence and those with children, and individuals at risk for abuse and homelessness by donating clothes, household items, toys and backpacks stuffed with school materials.
In recognizing the challenges inherent in creating a world that works for all, NamastéCSL supports social justice principles striving for equality of every individual, unfettered access to health care, education, and services, full participation in decisions affecting our lives, and protecting individual liberties. The COVID-19 pandemic exists at the nexus of many of these principles, and Namasté is there in support of essential workers, as well as our community by providing online live-streamed Sunday Services, workshops, classes, and community meetings.
